Daily Dose - Tuesday 4th Week

YES! The snow has almost gone. Now I can leave my room at last and empty my chamber pots.

7.30pm - Philadelphia Story by Philip Barry - OFS - A comedy about remarriage - £9/£7

7.30pm - Black Comedy by Brindsley Miller - BT - Hilarious scrapes in a dark flat with fiancees, in-laws, millionaires etc. What fun.

8pm - Baskery at the Jericho Tavern - A Swedish band composed of three sisters play punky stuff with banjos. Sounds like a cross between the Corrs and the Hives - go.

9.30pm - Squirrels by David Mamet - BT - "Art is not art? Then what is art? Think about it. I've got to pee." This will be brilliant, go see it - £5/£4

Also there is an open mic might at the Fir Tree on the Iffley Rd. It's a GREAT pub. Go to this as well. I might go come to think of it.

AND there are a few good exhibitions on at the moment:

The Body of Others - Videos, photographs and performance by Regina Jose Galindo at Modern Art Oxford.

Odds & Sods & Death & Dods - Street photography by Paul Freestone at North Wall Arts Centre on South Parade.

Chaos in the Continuum - 'surreal, genre-bending artwork' at the Jam Factory. Curious.
