Daily Dose - Monday 3rd Week

Good Morning. Here are some treats for your Monday Blues.

10am-11pm An Eye For Iran - exhibitions of photographs by Kazem Hakimi depicting the daily lives of Iranian people. At The Jam Factory, Free entry.

10.30-1pm & 2-4.30pm Hark the Herald Angels Sing! - X-mas-themed 16th-17th century Old Master Drawings (including Tititan & Corregio) at the Christ Church Art Gallery, £2. Bit off-season if you ask me, but there you go. For those who think the holiday season has passed too swiftly.

13.00-13.45 Madrigals and Lute Songs - Lunchtime Recital at The Parish Church of St. Michael at the North Gate. Free.

7.30pm (doors) 8pm (start of show)- 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' Oxford Imps improvised Comedy Night. Held at the Wheatsheaf (129 High Street) £3

7.30pm Harvest - comedy revolving around pig farming at the Oxford Playhouse. 'Funny, poignant and with a heart as big as a house' is what Telegraph had to say about it. £14.50+

9pm The Famous Monday Blues - Pete Boss and the Bluehearts at the Bullington Arms. £10 (This has apparantly been going on weekly since 1984... Got to be worth checking out) £10

Earth from the Air - exhibition of 120 double-bed sized photos by Yann Arthus-Bertan of many different beautiful things our planet boasts. Celebrating the Earth's beauty, so to say (as well as raising awareness of the impact we're having on it...) Held at the Oxford Castle (but in the garden so wrap up and go when it's good light).
