Daily Dose: Tuesday 2nd Week

You don't have to be arty every day of the week:

8pm - Lewis Carroll in Numberland - Professor Robin Wilson, Open University - Maths institute

"Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) was an Oxford mathematician. If he had not written the Alice books (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-glass), would he have been remembered as a mathematician? What mathematics did he do? How good was it? In this illustrated talk Professor Wilson will outline Dodgson's career as a mathematician and as a figure in Victorian Oxford."
