Daily Dose - Thursday 2nd Week

TODAY:

8pm - The Marmadukes - Bullingdon Arms - FREE. French rock and pop.

7.00pm - Magdalen Film Society, Rear Window (1954),
9.00pm - The Conversation (1974) - £3 non-members, Magdalen Auditorium.

7.30 pm - International Cinema Club: The Last Wave (Australia, 1977). Engineering Science Thom Building. Free for members, membership £7.50 per term/£15 per year.

8.00 - 9.30pm - Translation Festival featuring David Constantine, editor of 'Modern Poetry in Translation' magazine, as well as Simon Smith, poet-translator of Catallus. Hosted by OU Poetry Society - Teddy Hall Old Dining Hall, free to members of OU Poetry Society, otherwise £3, entry includes a glass of Sangria

9pm - Sparky's Flying Circus - The Half Moon - FREE. Weekly open music, comedy and song sessions.

8.30pm - Nitkowski, Shield Your Eyes, Hreda - Cellar - £5. Rocking.

CLUB: ECLECTRIC/// Baby love bar (with extra speakers and lighting).

"This edition features 3-hour sets from residents TJ Hertz and Ed Steele. There's no way of describing this that doesn't sound like terrible marketing hyperbole, but long sets are basically great and this is going to be super fun.
